An auction can be in one of the following statuses:

• Active (posted and available for bidding i.e. not closed)
• Scheduled (saved in the Community Auctions website DB and scheduled for posting)
• Draft (saved in the DB as a draft but neither posted nor scheduled for posting)
• Sold (closed with a winning bid)
• Expired (closed without a winning bid)
• Closed (a superset of sold and expired auctions)
